St John’s House was built in the early 1900’s (although part of the property is believed to be older) and has recently been sympathetically renovated to a high standard.

The small village of Pendeen has two pubs, The North Inn which is renowned for its curries and has been voted CAMRA pub of the year 2002 and The Radjel Inn.

St Johns is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the B3306 between Lands End and St Ives.
There are various attractions in the area, the famous Geevor Mine, Pendeen Lighthouse and Portheras Beach is just a few minutes walk away.

St Ives is about 20 minutes away by car but it can also be reached by walking the coastal path. Along the way you will pass Zennor and the Gurnards Head pub. Porthcurno isn’t very far and you’ll find there the Minack Theatre, which has panoramic views.

The Scilly Isles can be reached by plane from the Land’s End Airport and you can partake in a tea and a nice slice of cake baked by Rose the proprietor of the Choxaway Café.

St Austell is 49 miles away where you can visit the Eden Project.

There’s plenty to keep you busy and the views and coastal walks are quite breathtaking therefore, rather than tell you about them why don’t you come and see for yourselves!!
